Looks good! I love Boulder area. Looks like the pictures lacking a bit of black, contrast maybe.

This is HDR correct?

I think it would've been better with just a sillhuette. If want the main attention to be on the sunset, then a sillhuete would be better, because everything in the foreground grabs the attention from the sunset. :twocents:

i like it... did you did it with HDR? if so i wonder how it would of came out with the use of an ND filter. (i still need one for my bag)

This was actually an HDR WITH an ND grad filter ;)

what did it look like w/o the hdr

:iconblakannan:

Not quite as awesome obviously ;) The ND grad I bought is not nearly dark enough at the top. So I compensated by combining HDR and an ND grad. Normally for the other lenses, my ND grads are dark enough and help a lot, but I got one that was too light.

i have been looking at the lee filters for my nd and going with the tiffen glass ND. when i get the money. the good thing about the lee filters are you get one size for all your glass just have to get lil rings that fit your lenses i dont do film any more so im not big on filters but that is the way i would go just my 2 cents
