I cant see how those sunrays could have been created when the sun is clearly behind the camera. How is that possible?

I took this a while ago, so I think it must have been because there was an opening in the clouds? I'm really no meteorologist or something

I'm an engineer so I'm too good at explaining stuff like that.

What is your theory?

I dont have a theory, I literally cant see how this is possible. Sunrays converge on the sun, that would put the sun in front of the camera, when clearly it is behind it. Therefore these are not sunrays but some other phenomena

This phenomena is called anti crepuscular sunrays. Here they are created because there must be some haze behind the mountains, and the shadows of the mounts drew these sunrays.
